Part of my 'Ive Missed You Too' series: I drew this at A2 and then added lots of textures and details in Photoshop.
The Oxford Picture House was built for the Provincial Cinematography Theatres Company and opened in 1911. ‘Picture House’ can still be seem in terracotta on the Oxford Street facade. Old photos show an open tower rising from the roof, since demolished. In 1927 it was renamed The New Oxford Theatre. Now it’s an emporium of fast food.
